FORMER SPEAKER OF OYO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CONGRATULATED OYO STATE AND NIGERIA FOR WITNESSING NEW YEAR
The immediate past Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly; Right Honourable Olagunju Ojo, JP has congratulated the people of Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole for witnessing a brand new year 2020.
Hon 'Gunju Ojo solicited people's support for the All Progressive Congress
(APC) Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari in the task of moving the country to a greater height.
The former Speaker who congratulated the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on his 52nd birthday charges him and his administration to put in more efforts in the new year at improving the living standard of the people of the Pace Setter State.
Right Hon. Gunju Ojo while rejoicing with Nigerians on the occasion of the New Year Celebration enjoins them not to lose hope in both Federal and State Governments, stressing that President Muhammadu Buhari and other political leaders in the country are doing their best in moving the country forward.
The former Speaker prayed for a prosperous new year for Nigerians and urged the people to continue to remember the nation in their daily prayers especially on some of the nation's challenges which include security, low growing economy, unemployment, ethnic crises and others.
